Monstera Riso Print

I took this photo while visiting San Diego's cactus garden. They had a tropical greenhouse and the light happened to hit this Monstera perfectly. Printing it on the risograph only adds to the dreamy quality.

This is printed on a Risograph using three colors: Blue, Sunflower, and Fluorescent Pink.

Risograph printing is sort of like a screen printing machine. It prints each color as separate layers, one at a time, with soy ink. The result is super bright colors and interesting overlays, but there's also a level of unpredictability with the process. Each print can be slightly unique, but that's part of the charm of the Risograph.

It is printed on white Neenah 67lb. Vellum Bristol 11"x17" paper stock. Each print is signed and editioned.

The print will be shipped rolled up in a poster tube.
